Terms of service
The terms for businesses using CalendarCut to run their shop.
01Who the agreement is with
CalendarCut is operated by the Australian sole trader trading as CALENDAR CUT SOFTWARE, ABN 14 749 474 221. “CalendarCut”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that business.
These terms are for the business using CalendarCut and the person authorised to act for it. They apply when incorporated into your agreement with us. Your accepted order, plan and any separately agreed commercial terms form part of that agreement.
Existing accepted prices, commitments and partner arrangements are not replaced merely by publishing this page. A specific written agreement governs an issue where it conflicts with these general terms, subject to applicable law. Visitors and people booking with a shop should also read our terms of use.
02What CalendarCut provides
CalendarCut provides software for bookings, appointment diaries, client records and related enabled features. Available tools depend on your agreed plan, configuration, permissions and any required provider connection.
You run your own business: you choose services and products, set prices and availability, perform appointments and deal with clients. CalendarCut does not supply the haircut or product simply because a booking or sale is arranged through the software.
We give you a limited right to access and use the service for authorised business purposes while your agreement is in force. This does not transfer ownership of the software.
03Accounts and staff access
You must be authorised to create and manage the business account. Provide accurate business and contact details and keep them current so important service and billing notices can reach you.
You are responsible for the access given to staff, their authorised use and removing access when no longer needed. Keep credentials, recovery codes and private links confidential. Tell us promptly if you suspect an account has been compromised.
Do not impersonate another business, share access to evade plan restrictions or attempt to enter another shop’s records.
04Plans, fees and billing
Your accepted plan or order specifies the price, currency, billing unit, cycle and any minimum commitment. Our pricing page describes the current direct offer; your accepted agreement and invoices identify the terms applying to your account.
Recurring subscriptions are billed under the renewal and cancellation conditions presented when agreed. Usage, payment-provider or optional charges apply only where disclosed and applicable to a service you enable. Taxes are handled as required by law and as shown in the relevant price or invoice.
Review billing details before confirming a purchase or plan change. A test or demonstration payment does not establish that a live subscription or payment service is active.
05Plan changes and cancellation
Plan, location-quantity and commitment changes follow the options and timing in your accepted commercial terms. A change may apply immediately or at a later billing boundary. A new general terms page is not permission to rewrite an existing commitment.
Use available subscription controls or contact support@calendarcut.com to request cancellation. Its effective date, any remaining commitment and subsequent access depend on your accepted plan and applicable law. We will explain the position for your account.
Cancelling a subscription and deleting personal information are separate actions. Ask about export and data handling before closing your account. Refunds or credits are assessed under your agreement and applicable law; nothing here excludes a remedy you are legally entitled to.
06Your shop and client responsibilities
Keep services, durations, staff eligibility, hours, locations, prices and booking rules accurate. Review changes affecting appointments and keep clients informed where necessary. You remain responsible for fulfilling confirmed services and product offers.
Show relevant cancellation, deposit, refund and no-show conditions before clients confirm. Handle complaints and refunds fairly and lawfully. Do not describe a payment as completed unless actually received or validly recorded.
You are responsible for the lawfulness of your content and instructions, including photos, descriptions, client notes and imported contacts.
07Client information and privacy
You remain responsible for your business’s handling of client information, notices and authority to collect, enter or import it. Collect only what is needed, keep it accurate and limit access to appropriate staff.
We handle information to operate and support the service and perform necessary account, security and legal functions, as explained in our privacy policy. You retain your rights in information and content supplied. You authorise us to host, process and transmit it as needed for the agreed service.
Use available export, privacy and retention controls appropriately. Do not use deletion tools to avoid outstanding obligations. Backups and restricted historical records may remain where justified, as described in the privacy policy.
08Communications and marketing
You are responsible for the recipients, content and appropriate permission for messages sent on your behalf. Booking, joining a queue, purchasing a product or importing a contact is not automatically marketing consent.
Respect unsubscribe requests and channel-specific choices. Do not send unsolicited or misleading messages, use harvested lists or bypass suppression, usage limits or provider rules.
Review invitations must be truthful. Do not create fake reviews, offer rewards conditional on positive ratings or describe private feedback as a public endorsement.
09Acceptable use and content
Do not use CalendarCut for unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, abusive or harmful activity. Do not upload malicious files, infringe rights, interfere with the service, probe unauthorised systems or bypass security, billing or access controls.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for shop content, branding and photos. Your permission for us to handle content is limited to operating, displaying and supporting the service as instructed; it does not transfer your ownership.
Our software, platform branding and material we create remain ours or our licensors’. Do not commercially redistribute the platform except where a separate agreement permits it.
10Payments and external services
Some features rely on payment processors, email or SMS providers, domain services and review sites. You may need an account, verification and agreement to provider terms before using them.
Provider fees, eligibility, processing times and limits are governed by the relevant arrangements. We do not guarantee account approval, delivery of every message or uninterrupted operation of an external service.
If you subscribe through a partner, the identified partner may manage your commercial subscription and branding under its accepted agreement. This does not give the partner unrestricted access to client records.
11Availability and support
We work to keep CalendarCut operating, but maintenance, faults, networks and provider interruptions can affect availability. Unless separately agreed, we do not promise uninterrupted access or a particular response time.
Contact support@calendarcut.com about an issue. If a save or payment result is uncertain, check its status before repeating the action. Maintain appropriate business continuity arrangements and use available exports for records you need independently.
We may improve or change the service. Material changes affecting an agreed paid service will be handled with appropriate notice, under your agreement and applicable law.
12Suspension and ending access
Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful use, serious breach or non-payment under accepted terms. Action should be proportionate. Where practicable and appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow an opportunity to resolve it.
Urgent action may be needed to protect people, information or the service. Contact us if you believe a restriction is incorrect. Accepted billing grace or restoration arrangements continue to govern your account.
After access ends, export or return of information and remaining retention are handled under your agreement, our privacy policy and applicable law. Ending access does not erase obligations or records that lawfully need to remain.
13Legal rights and responsibility
Nothing here excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.
Each party remains responsible for its conduct and obligations. Loss, liability and available remedies are assessed under the agreement, applicable law and any valid limitation specifically agreed for your service. A provider interruption or client’s conduct does not remove rights you otherwise have against CalendarCut.
We do not guarantee particular revenue, appointment numbers, reviews or business results. Descriptions of tools are not promises that every business will achieve the same outcome.
14Questions, disputes and updates
Contact support@calendarcut.com about an agreement or service concern. Describe the issue and outcome sought without sending passwords or full card details. This does not prevent you using a regulator, tribunal, court or another available complaint process.
Unless a specific agreement says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Mandatory protections applying in another jurisdiction remain.
We may propose updated terms, providing appropriate notice and obtaining agreement where required. An update does not retrospectively change accepted commitments or remove accrued rights. Its date and version identify this published text.
